A Renewed Hope

Three things are guaranteed in this day in age, death, taxes, and the Celtics crumbling in the playoffs. The constant knack for choking is consistently excused by delusional Celtic fans (not all fans are delusional like me). Whether it's Tatum's grimace from last year, referees, or injuries, it seems like a very difficult task for Celtic fans to accept the reality of the past 16 years: Disappointment. The Celtics consistently play in a very weak Eastern Conference, and that is no different this year. If the Dallas Mavericks the 5th ranked team in the Western Conference were to be placed in the Eastern Conference, they would be the 2nd ranked team. There is a power imbalance in the East that the Celtics must cash in on now. Still, the fear looms of an inevitable Celtics collapse again. Though there is still hope that Tatum, Brown, and the rest can finish the job. As the Celtics enter a pivotal series against the pacers the Basketball World enters a standstill. Can Tatum and Brown prevail along with the help of players like Derick White and Kristaps Porzingis, or will they seemingly falter like they have they many times in recent years?
