As a Patriots fan my dream for the rest of the offseason after 1 week of it would be for us to sign one final free agent and then have a killer draft. I’d start off by changing our defensive scheme up from our well known 3-4 into a 4-3 because the patriots’ linebackers are much better fit to play run defense rather than rush the quarter back as well as the fact that our team has 2 stellar defensive tackles. After making a huge change on defense I would sign left tackle Cam Robinson making our offensive line him at LT Morgan Moses at RT Cole Strange at LG Ben Brown at C and Michael Onwenu at RG. Then to start off our draft with a bang I would draft Travis Hunter out of Colorado to play WR and a rotational CB. In the second round I would draft Landon Jackson out of Arkansas to cement our Pass Rush. Now I’d make a surprising trade up in the second I’d trade 1 of our 3rd round draft picks and our Second Round pick next season to the San Francisco 49ers for their Second-round pick to draft Carson Schweiger out of UCLA to give us a true 4-3 will MLB to disrupt the pass. Then with our 3rd round selection I would pick RB Cam Skattebo out of ASU to compete in our crowded RB room. With our 4th round pick I would draft Texas center Jake Majors to compete with our questionable center room. In the 5th round I would draft OG Luke Kandra out of Cincinnati to compete with our questionable left guard spot. Getting into the later and less important rounds I would draft Nick Nash WR out of San Jose State. With our first seventh round pick I would bring in Kicker Ryan Fitzgerald out of Florida State. With our second 7th round pick I would draft Luke Lachey TE out of Iowa to give us a young TE out of a university known for its TE production. And with our last pick I would select Shilo Sanders Safety Colorado, giving our First pick someone familiar and a reliable tackling Safety as depth.
